So my church does this thing where they send out cookies to college and university students abroad. They just get a bunch of old ladies together to bake cookies and box them and send them out. I knew about this but I did not expect to receive a box myself.
Today a white box arrived without a return address and I didn't have the foggiest idea who could have sent it to me or what it was.
I opened the box and lo, it was filled with cookies with a note from the old ladies at the church.
I've never received a box of cookies in the mail before. I think getting cookies in the mail is one of my new favourite things.
Maybe I ought to move out so that I get sent cookies more often. Though, I'm not so sure my Mom is the type to send out boxes of cookies...maybe I'll adopt a grandma.
